This past Saturday (August the 19th) - we held our annual Ladies' tournament at Highview Golf Course. This year we hosted our first ever 4 Lady Scramble with the new format after years of 2 & 3 Lady Scrambles. A total of 116 golfers participated in the one-day Ladies' event. Although the course was fairly wet due to the rain this week; the weather conditions for the tournament day were outstanding and we had great scores throughout the field!
With that said, the Highview 4 Lady Scramble Champions for 2023 are;
Angie Proulx, Kim Dubois, Sue Devuono & Karen Guilfoyle.
They won their first 4 Lady Championship with an amazing score of 63!
The champs bested the next closest team by just a stroke; the team of Sandra King, Roni Schellenberg, Marg Attridge & Dori Rheubottom (Last Year's 3 Lady Champs) - who shot a 64 for a close 2nd Place finish.
This is the first Ladies' Tournament win for Devuono and Guilfoyle at Highview.
Proulx and Dubois are both Previous Winners of our 2 Lady Scramble.
