On Saturday (August 16th), we held our 3rd Annual Highview 4 Lady Scramble Tournament Sponsored by l'Ami's Garden Centre.
This year it was our biggest 4 Lady Scramble Tournament to date. We hosted a full field of 132 ladies who participated in our one-day scramble event at Highview Golf Course.
The women experienced a gorgeous hot and sunny Saturday for tournament golf - it was a bit breezy at times but overall we had an amazing day weather-wise!
This year we had some unreal scores throughout the entire field of ladies! With the course rolling real nice as of late, we saw some fantastic scores from the Championship Flight down to the 4th Flight. Most notable was the top flight, which was compiled of groups that shot Minus-10 to Minus-5 over the full Eighteen Holes. With the course being a Par 72 from the Red Tees, we had some great shooting and scores from each and every team that played!
With that said, our 2025 Highview 4 Lady Scramble Champions are;
Brandy Kmith, Tammy Szarka, Lisa Grinton & Joanne Matthews.
They took home their first 4 Lady Scramble Championship with an outstanding score of a Minus-10, 62!
Our 2025 winners just narrowly beat the foursome in 2nd place by just one stroke.
The team of Lynn Lavallee, Lise Lejambe, Mariah Lejambe & Cathy Wilson - who shot very well with a Minus-9, 63, in a close finish for 1st Place.
As mentioned, this is the first Ladies' Tournament win for Kmith/Szarka/Grinton/Matthews at Highview. Shooting a 62, the ladies set a new winning score record for our 4 Lady Scramble beating the 2023 Winners who shot a 63! (Dubois/Proulx/Devuono/Guilfoyle)
