4th Annual Highview 4 Lady Scramble ~ Blog & Full Results; Our First Two-Time Champs!

On Saturday (August 15th/26), we held our 4th Annual Highview 4 Lady Scramble Tournament Sponsored by l'Ami's Garden Centre.
This year we hosted a full field of 124 ladies who participated in our one-day scramble event at Highview Golf Course.
The women were blessed with a gorgeous warm and sunny Saturday for the tournament - it was a beautiful one for golf and we had an amazing day weather-wise overall!
This year we had fantastic scores throughout the whole field of teams! With the course rolling very well as of late, we saw terrific scores from the Championship Flight down to the 4th Flight. Most notably our top flight, which was filled of groups that shot Minus-9 to Minus-5 over the full Eighteen Hole event. With the course playing as a Par 72 from the Red Tees, we had some great shooting from each and every team that participated!
On that note, our 2026 Highview 4 Lady Scramble Champions are;
Nat Brunette, Diane Bednarz, Viv Degagne & Karen Waller.
The team played excellent all day, going on to win their second 4 Lady Scramble Championship at Highview with an outstanding score of a Minus-9, 63!
Our 2026 winners just barely beat the next best foursome by only a single stroke! The team of Highview Members; Roni Schellenberg, Dori Rheubottom, Marg Attridge & Sandra King - who shot well with a tidy Minus-8, 64, finishing 2nd overall.
As mentioned, this is the second Highview Ladies' Tournament win for Brunette/Bednarz/Degagne/Waller. Shooting a 63, the team shot the second lowest winning score in the short history of our 4 Lady Scramble Tournaments. So close to tying the record of 62 set by our 2025 4 Lady Scramble winners (Kmith/Szarka/Matthews/Grinton).
